Steps

1. Open Watermark PDF.
2. Drop the PDF.
3. Choose text watermark (e.g., CONFIDENTIAL) or upload a logo (PNG with transparency works best).
4. Tune font size, rotation (usually -45° for text), opacity (25–40% is unobtrusive), and position.
5. Click Apply Watermark and download.

Text vs image watermarks

• Text — sharp at any zoom because it's real PDF text, tiny file-size overhead.
• Image — needed for logos or gradients. Use a transparent PNG or SVG rendered to PNG; keep it modestly sized to avoid bloating the PDF.

A watermark is not DRM
